Valorie Leeb, Owner
A paralegal and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Ms. Leeb has been specializing in the areas of Elder Law and Medicaid eligibility since 1995. She is a licensed health insurance agent, which allows her to better serve the needs of her clients in helping them understand the impact of Medicare and secondary insurances. Ms. Leeb is an associate member of the Maryland Bar Association.

Nicole R. Hewitt, Esquire
Nicole R. Hewitt of Hewitt & Waicker, LLC practices in the area of Elder Law, Estate Planning and Estate Administration, Business Planning, and Title and Real Estate Transactions, with an emphasis on the tax aspects of each area. Her clients consist of both individuals and small businesses. Prior to co-founding Hewitt & Waicker, LLC, Ms. Hewitt was a senior tax associate with two Big 5 accounting firms, an associate with a large prominent Baltimore law firm and General Counsel and Executive Director of a national corporation. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Estate & Trusts, Elder Law and Real Property sections, and a member of the Baltimore County Bar Association. Ms. Hewitt received her B.A. from Loyola College, J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and L.L.M in Taxation from Georgetown University School of Law.

Jessica L. Waicker, Esquire
Jessica L. Waicker of Hewitt & Waicker, practices in the area of Estate Planning, Business Planning, and Title and Real Estate Transactions. Ms. Waicker has built a large portion of her practice on the representation of local private lenders. In addition, she has extensive experience in the title industry which allows her to work closely with brokers, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and loan officers to insure smooth real estate transactions. Prior to co-founding Hewitt & Waicker, LLC, Ms. Waicker was an associate in a prominent mid-sized Baltimore law firm and title manager of a national title company. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Estates & Trusts and Real Property sections, and a member of the Women’s Bar Association. Ms. Waicker received her B.A. from Washington College and J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Sherry Rush, Associate
A paralegal and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Ms. Rush has specialized in the area of Elder Law since 1998. In her role as Medicaid Supervisor for HCR Manor Care and as a paralegal in the Elder Care Department of Hodes, Ulman, Pessin & Katz, P.A., she helped numerous families obtain Medicaid benefits. Ms. Rush possesses an excellent working knowledge of both federal and state Medicaid laws and is an associate member of the Maryland Bar Association.

Daphne Vasold, Associate
Ms. Vasold is a paralegal who has worked in various facets of elder law since 2000, Accent's primary researcher, administrative liaison and business office manager. Her career in elder law began as an estate planning secretary with Hodes, Ulman, Pessin & Katz, P.A. then continued as a Medicaid Liaison for HCR Manor Care giving her valuable insight into managing all angles of a Medicaid/Elder Law case. Ms. Vasold brings extraordinary investigative talents to our team of professionals which allows us to define and clarify areas in a case to help achieve a successful result.
